    Notes:

    Amelia moved, with her family, from Coshocton County, Ohio to Greenwood, Christian Co, in 1856.
    When Amelia was 15, her mother died while giving birth to Clara Belle. She is quoted as saying she "had to raise her brothers and sisters."
    Mary says she remembers going w/ her dad to hear Abe Lincoln speak
    (pres from 1861-65).
    Dec. 1, 1872 marriage of Amelia Randles and Davis Dimock Cheever.
    1880 Census shows children living with others.
    In 1896 moved to KS.
    Amelia was a petite and feisty woman who liked to tease and be teased.
