PLAC Battle of Agincourt"Sir John Cole, knt., was in the Retynew of the Duke of Gloucester, at the Battle of Agincourt on Friday, the XXVth day of October in the year of our Lord God, 1415, and in the Third year of the Reign of the most Excellent King Henry V." and it is probable that he received his spurs for his conduct on that glorious field. John owned property at Nythway, Devon, ENG.
