    Died:
    Funeral services for Mrs. Lola Mildred Pippin, 90, of the
    Shiloh community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Wednesday, April 27, at Upper Cumberland
    Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the John Young Cemetery in the Shiloh community of Jackson County.

    The family will receive friends Tuesday from 11 A.M. ? 9 P.M., and Wednesday from 10 A.M. until time of services at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home.

    Mrs. Pippin passed away on Monday, April 25, 2005, at the
    Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN.

    She was born February 21, 1915, in Jackson County to the late Patrick Chaffin and Mary Bell Young Chaffin. On July 8, 1932, she was married to the late Leonard B. Pippin, who passed away on November 9, 1989.

    Mrs. Pippin was a housewife, and a member of the Shiloh
    Church of Christ. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 1 Daughter: Shirley Ann Curtis; 2 Grandchildren: Tommy J. Curtis and Kimberly Ann Curtis; 5 Brothers: Harold, Lon, Willie B., Zeb, and Earnest Chaffin; 4 Sisters: Sally Locke, Lizzie Mae Pippin, Zella Pippin, and Cora Nell Chaffin; and 1 Son-in-Law: Arbie J. Allen.

    Survivors include 2 Daughters and 1 Son-in-Law: Pauline
    Allen of the Shiloh Community of Jackson Co., TN, and Mary
    Sue & James Allen also of the Shiloh Community; 1 Brother:
    Nelson Chaffin of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Special Nephews: Henry
    and Johnny Pippin, both of the Shiloh community; 9
    Grandchildren: Carol (Danny) Davis, Annette (Paul) Brewer,
    Sandy (Eldon) Ballard, James L. (Sharon) Allen, Tony
    (Debbie) Curtis, Michelle (Jerry) Rhoten, Randy
    (Margaret) Curtis, Ronnie Curtis, and Nicki (Tommy)
    Hicks; 21 Great-Grandchildren and 5 Great-Great
    Grandchildren also survive.

    Bro. Doyle B. Wilmoth will officiate at the services.

    by contacting Upper Cumberland Funeral Home.
