    Mabry Madden Jones was one of seven children born to Cyrus Y. Jones and his wife Nancy Ann Wooten. Mary was employed as a meat cutter for the majority of his work life.

    Mabry was united in marriage in Beaumont, Texas in approximately 1923 to Lucy May Miller. Mabry and May were married for seven years when Mabry passed away at the age of 50 due to bronchial pneumonia.
