Sept. 18,1766 they probate Robert Covington's will in Culpeper Co., VA. "Exhibited to the Court by John Strother, John Claton swore that the said decedent did sign seal and publish this his last will and that he say William Wiseman subscibe the same "I get from this that William Wiseman was not present, giving more evidence that William and Mary had indeed gone down to South Carolina
