HARDIN Harry Allen Herron, 88 of Hardin, died Saturday at Jersey County Hospital, where h e had been a patient for two weeks.
Born to the late Mr. and Mrs. Scott Herron on April 25, 1882, in Illinois, he was married to
Electa, who died in 1965. He is survived by three daughters , Mrs. Elizabeth Groppel of Jerse yville, Mrs. Myrtle Williams of Hardin, and Mrs. LeVeta Bailey of Emporia, Kan; a son, Howar d Herron of Newton, Ill.; five grandchildren , and 13 greatgrandchildren.
He also leaves three half-brothers, John Herron of California, Cecil Herron of White Hall, an d Carl Herron. A sister, Lottie Craigmiles of Hardin and a half-sister, Nellie Herron of Whit e Hall are surviving also.
Fiends may call at the C.C. Hanks Funeral Home in Hardin after 3 p.m. today.
The body will be moved to the Presbyterian Church in Hardin where the Rev. James O. Jarrell w ill officiate at funeral services Tuesday at 2 p.m.
Interment will be in the Hardin Cemetery.
The Heart Fund has been designated as a memorial.
