She was born September 12, 1896 in Brodhead, Green County, Wisconsin, and died April 21, 1983 in California aged 86 years, 7 months, 9 days. She died of pancreatic cancer. She is buried at the foot of Lloyd Earl Wood's grave in Osceola Cemetery, Osceola, St. Joseph County, Indiana.
Harriet was also married to a John Kennedy before her marriage to Lloyd. Harriett had two children by John: (1) Kathleen Kennedy born February 1916 and (2) Donald John Kennedy born August 12, 1917.

In 1976 Lloyd obtained his Bachelor of Science degree, in Criminal Justice, from Michigan State University. He was a social worker in 1976. He was a Catholic.

In 1880 Dickerson Lee was 11 years old living with his parents, John L. and Mary Susan Wood. They lived in Texas Township, DeWitt County, Illinois. Dickerson worked on the family farm and attended school.

On October 26, 1892 Dickerson Lee, age 23, and Tossie Parker, age 20, married in Clinton, DeWitt County, Illinois.

Eight years later, in the 1900 Census, Dickerson Lee and his wife, Tossie, were living with Tossie's mother, Margaret Parker, a widow. The lived in Texas Township, DeWitt County, Illinois. Dickerson and Tossie's two boys, Lloyd and Bruce lived with them. Dickerson was 31 years old. Tossie was 26. Lloyd was 5 and Bruce age 1.

Dickerson Lee was a farmer. Frank Parker, age 23, son of Margaret and brother of Tossie, also lived in the household. Frank, too, was a farmer.

Incidentally, the 1900 census indicates Dickerson Lee and Tossie had been married 2 years when the census was taken. That indicates they were married in 1898 rather than 1892. It would also indicate that their son, Lloyd, was born out of wedlock, having been born in 1894.

Dickerson Lee died April 13, 1935, at age 66 years, 1 month, 3 days, in Clinton, DeWitt County, Illinois.
