    Notes:

"Then, she (Margaret) married a Knodel (I believe Conrad, but not certain) who was also a member of the Harmonite Society or sometimes referred to as the Rappites from Pennsylvania and Indiana."
email from m Sherwood McCall 12/16/10

    Research Notes:
There are questions about this person's identity. He is either dead or gone by 1850. And because of the proximity of Christian Knodell to Margaret and her daughter Melissa for several years, it's clear that he would be connected to Christian somehow. Because his age is about the same as Christian's, it's assumed they were brothers.

    Died:
Margaret living with daughter Melissa & husband Edward V. Heminway 1860 - no indication she is a widow.

Claud married Margaret Rebecca Oestreicher after 1834. Margaret was born in 1804 in Pennsylvania/Germany; died after 1880 in of, Sabine Pass, Jefferson Co, Texas. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
