    Notes:

    some show 1st wife to be Omie Burgess; but his grandson John Jefferson married a Omnie Burgess. John Jefferson was confused with John Lollar thinking the elder John Lollar had a middle initial J - which records do not support that initial.

    It's likely that's where the confusion originated. there's also some researchers showing his 1st wife to be Catherine Perkins. There apparently is a Perkins connection, however as there are some Lollars buried in a Perkins cemtery in Putnam. but Catherine Perkins is said to have married a John Anderson Lollar; so probably she is not his first wife either.
