Jasper Vick Cuccia, Jr, 76, of Orange, died Tuesday, August 24, 2010, at Baptist Hospital in Orange. A Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 26, 2010, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City. Officiating will be Reverend Kevin Trinkle, Chaplain of Baptist Hospital Orange. Born in Port Arthur on September 19, 1933, Jasper was the son of Mary Kate Miller and Jasper Vick Cuccia, Sr. Vick served in the U.S. Marines, worked as a commercial pilot for Menhaden Industry for 20 years and later retired as a welder from Metal Forms. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Bridge City and a Baptist by Faith. Vick was an excellent artist and woodworker. Vick is survived by his wife, Linda Wall Cuccia of Orange; son, Chet Cuccia of Orange; sister, Pearl Secrist; brothers, Milton Mahon and Roger Mahon; and cousins, Preston Arrington, Frances Strong and Louis Miller.
