    From the Carrollton Republican dated June 14, 1884: "Page 1, Henry County. Hansberry Jones, after a long and tedious illness, died at his residence, Tuesday (June 10) evening; his funeral services took place at Port Royal, Wednesday evening, after which his remains were interred in the cemetery adjoining the Baptist Church yard."
