    1820 Oct Session - Final settlement of the estate and guardianship of Warren Coker and Joseph Coker. John Davis, for William Anderson, who was guardian for Warren Coker and Joseph Coker, gives full account of the full estate of Charles Coker, deceased, dated 16 Jan 1815. Since the date of the receipt, William Anderson has died, and he believed the estate was settled.
    Signed by John Davis, 2 Oct 1820.

    Charles Coker left Burke County about 1795 for Knox County, TN. He died there in 1800. His male children by his first marriage left Burke county for Greenville county, SC, in 1791. Leonard would stay in Greenville until
    1811 when he left SC for Alabama. William and Charles joined their father in Knox Co., TN, sometime before 1800.

    Charles Coker,Sr. appears on 1790 census for Burke Co, NC. He lived near his brother, William Coker, in Burke County, near Blowing Rock, NC, near the James River. Coker farm was sold to Jesse Moore, brother in law to Charles Coker, who had married Judith Moore Lee, widow of Edward Lee. The Coker
    farm is still owned by the Moore family in 2004, when it was visited by Roy.

    "Charles Coker, b. 1740 married Judith Moore, dau of John Moore and Judith Walker Moore of Flavania Co, VA. In 1780, Charles and Judith Moore Coker left Virginia along with Judith's brother and sister, and they went to Burke Co, NC.
