Notes:

speculating that Charles is brother to John Z on the circumstance that his widow is living next door to Abel Scofield in 1860; and then Abel Scofield stays close to William Harrison Stone and in 1900 and 1910 census records. Just seems there is a connection somehow. Since Charles is same age range and same place of birth of John Z, it seemed like a logical leap. (see notes on Welcome Scofield c1810 and Abel Scofield.
