Harriett H. Wright 87, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2009 in Hospice Ministries care after a long and wonderful life. Harriett was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend.

She was the third child of Odell and Margaret Wright. She is survived by her devoted husband of 69 years, Dencil Wright; their three children, David, Suzanne, and John; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; as well as numerous beloved relatives and friends.

A longtime resident of Indianapolis, Harriett and Dencil, throughout their lives, enjoyed forming deep friendships with new and returning customers at Wright's Greenhouse. She also had a passion for buying, selling, and collecting antiques. Harriett, Sis, Mom, and Mrs. Wright, all names she responded to, will be quiet now, but what she brought to her family and friends will remain forever in a lifetime of cherished memories.

Dencil (son of Harvey Wright, Sr. and Octavia Hazel "Siney" Holtsclaw) was born on 23 Aug 1919 in Greene Co, Indiana; died on 17 Oct 2009 in Indianapolis, Indiana; was buried in Ridgeport Cem, Bloomfield, Greene Co, Indiana.
