    Hi Theresa,
Thank you so much for thinking of me and posting this. I must admit that I was a little confused when I first read your post. The wording seemed familiar but something was a little odd. Then the name Hugh Morgan jumped out at me and I realized why it seemed so familiar.

I did some checking and found that this is not the will of John Rentfroe. It is the will of Hugh Morgan. Note where it says "wife Mary and son Hugh Morgan", that's Hugh Morgan the junior.

Indeed, John Rentfroe is mentioned in the Morgan will but, only because his land ajoins the Morgan land on one of it's borders.

It is really kind of interesting that this will was mentioned as being the will of John Rentfroe. Not only because of the property placement but, because I feel (it's only a suspision, no facts) that Mary, wife of Hugh Morgan may also be Mary b: c1681, daughter of John Rentfroe, the one that this will was mistaken for.

Isn't it odd how one keeps bumping into the same information again and again, until you find that one little item that finally makes it a fact. Now I am wondering if I should pick up on this particular branch of my research again. lol

    Thanks again for the post.

    Warm regards,
    Joan Renfrow

    Hi,
That was very interesting. You know John Rentfrow's wife was named Mary too. She may have been Mary Thompson who m. a
Hugh Morgan and may have been a widow who m. John Rentfrow.
That was interesting about John having a daughter named Mary.
Can you tell me anything more about his other children? I was hoping OUR Wailliam b. 1702 was his son.

    Correction.
This Will was sent to me, but found out later this is NOT the WiLL of John Renfrow, but of HUGH MORGAN. We found a list of HUGH'S children and they match the ones in HIS WILL. Hugh m. Mary Thompson.
