Research Notes:
Ancestry gave an ancestry hint that is cousin.
He shows Elisha Oglesby (born 29 Dec 1748) as a son of Jacob Oglesby and Ann Bailey and that he married Mary Bryan. However, researchers, specifically of the Bryans (of Daniel Boone fame) state that Elisha was a Jr. and son of Elisha Oglesby Sr.
This website states that there was an Elisha born 29 Dec 1748 who was son of Jacob Oglesby and a first wife, as Jacob's marriage to Ann Bailey was 1760.

The marriages shown to this Elisha are similar as to Elisha Oglesby Jr.
"ELISHA OGLESBY, b. December 29, 1758; d. March 02, 1833; m. (1) MARY BRYSON; b. Abt. 1760; d. Bef. 1800; m. (2) XX ROGERS; d. Bef. 1800; m. (3) SARAH PRATT, June 10, 1800, Amherst Co., VA.
whereas Elisha Jr. m Mary Bryan instead of Bryson, and m2 Selah Rogers (or Rodgers).
I believe Sarah Pratt married Peter, not Elisha.
These Elishas are mixed up. Have not yet found solid sources to straighten them out.
