Jean Elizabeth Bryan Serafino, 77, of Beaumont died Friday Febuary 27, 2004 at Christus St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur. Mrs. Serafino was a native of Beaumont and resident of the area all her life. Jean loved being at the beach looking for seashells and bird watching. At home in Beaumont she enjoyed her flower gardening and was a seamstress extraordinaire. She had a love of Art that she passed on to all her children. She is survived by her sons, Bryan Serafino and his wife Kerri of Nederland and Mart Serafino and his wife Gloria of Beaumont; daughter, Ann Serafino of Beaumont; brother, Wallace Bryan and his wife Lucille of Beaumont; grandchildren, Angela Serafino, Andrew Serafino, Jake Serafino and Elizabeth Isbell; and cousins, Sallye Keith of Beaumont and Guy Culver and spouse Walt of Austin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Serafino; parents, William Wallace and Blanche Spinks Bryan; and a brother William Currin Bryan. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 1, 2004 at Broussardis, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont followed by burial at Magnolia Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday evening, February 29, 2004 from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the Mortuary.
