They are referred to in documents as John Clark, turner, son of Terence Clark and Susana Cowden; John Clark, little, son of Francis Clark and Rachel Melon/Malone; and John Clark, cutlip (this John Clark). This John is also referred to as John of Virginia, and John "a planter".
    John and Catherine had several of their children baptised on 13 Nov 1801.

    JOHN NICHOLAS RABB migrated to southwest Mississippi Territory from Germany via Pennsylvania after 1774 with his son John Nicholas Rabb. His second wife was CATHERINE CLARK daughter of Terrance (Ferenzio) Clark and Susanna Cowan. One of Nicholas and Catherine Rabb's children was MARY ANN RABB who was born about 1795 in the Southwest Mississippi Territory. The Rabbs lived in the Second and Sandy Creek District. 11 April 1812 Mary Ann Rabb married Frederick A. Leake in the Natchez District, Adams County. I am interested in corresponding with other researchers regarding these families.

    JAMES COLE, Jr. and wife Mary Rentfroe moved with their family to Southwest Mississippi Territory about 1780 settling near Cole's Creek in present day Jefferson County. Their daughter MARY COLE married Jacob Stampley about 1787. I am related to their daughter Sarah Minerva Stampley who married Stephen Rowland. Would like to correspond with others researching these families.
