"The following August (1757) her (Sarah Hastings Bowyer) household goods were advertised to be sold, and in July 1758 it was announced that her real estate would be put up for sale. Her executors disposed of the land between Front Street and the cartway to various purchasers, among them Robert Waln, John Doyle, Ruth Webb, and Mary Taggart."
