John* Nichols, (immigrant?)

Notes:

Efforts to trace the history of this particular Nichols family lead to around 1700 in the South when John Nichols was born, probably in North Carolina. It is suspected that he was an immigrant from Europe, but when and where he was born is unknown at this time.
