Deposition of Rachel Freeborne, Tiverton, Devon, England, Baptist Church Records 1695-1915, FHL microfilm 1,526,426, item 3. Her 1727 deposition stated that Alice Skinner had come to MD about 56 years ago, and married within a year to Henry Ridgely. Henry's first wife Elizabeth Howard had to be deceased by that date.

Alice married Col. Henry Ridgely, Jr. about 1673 in Anne Arundel Co, Maryland. Henry was born in 1635 in Devon, England; died in 1710 in Prince George Co, Maryland. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
