    Notes:

needs more research. The following statement, found at
    http://nefamilies.com/fam/groupsheetI100006825.aspx

"Shermand Genealogy lists Edmunds wife as Joan Makin. This book seems to be trustworthy because of the thorough research that was accomplished in order to publish the History. Previously, I have the wife of Edmund Sherman listed as Judith Angiers which I now believe is incorrect; It was Edmund Sherman (son of Henry, who is son of our Henry) of Colchester who married Judith Angers! (See pg: 104 of Sherman Genealogy);"

However,Judith Angiers b 1587. Edmond, son of Henry, is father of Edmond Jr.; b 1548, probably too old for Judith. His wives were Anne Clere and Anne Pellette.
