    Ms Asche,
Thank you for your efforts to manage the Siddens site. I hope to be of some help to the membership--and receive some help as well (but, of course!).
My brick wall: James and Sarah Graves Siddens are at rest in Putnam County, Indiana: he as of 1846 and she as of 1865. Their stones can still be seen at the Randel-Ford Cemetery at Bainbridge, Ind. I cannot locate the Siddens family in the Philadelphia, Pa. area, allegedly the family's place of origin in this country. James Siddens had two brothers. Unknown are the parents of the Siddens brothers. William and Jean Carr Siddens were wed at Old Swedes Church in Philadelphia in 1766, but there is no record of any children of this couple in the churchbooks. The family name can be found on the 1790 census in the city, but we can deduce nothing from this directly.
    Looking for leads.

    Sincerely,
Duane Lamers, Troy, Michigan kglamers$yahoo.com (Substitute the $ sign, of course)
