    I found a marriage bond for Pettigrew McGowan in 1800 Randolph, NC. The bride was Elizabeth Noblet. She was the sister of John Noblett of Orange, NC.
    Some of his children moved to Maries, MO and lived near the desc. of Jared Branson Sr.
