Elizabeth moved with her mother and sister to Vermillion Pa., La about 1875 and worked at Hope Mill Plantation owned by the Bartels family. In the 1880 census, 3rd Ward Vermillioar. she was listed as a servant living with James and Mary Fitzpatrick and their 2 yr old son, John. They were from Ireland.
