  1. 4.  Stephen (of Sumner) Stone, Sr. (not son of Wm 1690) was born on 12 Oct 1750 in Caroline Co, Virginia (son of William Stone and Mrs. Elizabeth Ann (..) Stone, son of William Stone); died on 16 Apr 1838 in Gallatin, Sumner Co, Tennessee.

    Notes:

    A tree with Stephen's ancestors;
    http://person.ancestry.com/tree/47767068/person/12811200185/facts

    However I'd like to verify it. They show that Stephen has a brother Eusebius with same b and d dates as an Eusebius I have shown to be son of William and unk and grandson of William (Poynton Manor) and Theodosia Wade of Accomack Co, Virginia. This tree shows Stephen's father as a William of Accomack Co but shows his wife to be Elizabeth and grandparents as John 1667-1736 and Mary O'Brissell. So, maybe they have the wrong Eucibius as a brother to Stephen.
    more research is needed, but am leaving him attached as a brother to "my" Eucibius until research can be done.
