Tabitha's godparents were Randal _____ and Anna Dusen. The witnesses at her marriage to Alexander Fridge were David McCullough and William Cantey, neither of whom have been positively identified as related. David may be the brother of Margaret McCullough, wife of George Cantey; William Cantey, possibly Tabitha's grandfather or great uncle, was possibly already deceased (from the record on Elisha Cantey spelled CANETY, whose father William was deceased in 1790). If that is so, the William who witnessed this document may be the son of George or the son of William. At this time, since the relationship of Tabitha's mother Rachel to William Cantey and Catherine Russ is undocumented, it is also possible that Rachel is the daughter of George, and William is her brother and David is her uncle or cousin. (undocumented theories)
