MORRISONVILLE - Edith C. Skinner, 89, of Morrisonville died Monday, March 5, 2001, at Taylorville Care Center. She was born April 29, 1911, in Nokomis, the daughter of Charles and Sadie Weathers Oller. She married Orville Skinner in 1929 in Hillsboro; he preceded her in death in 1957. A son, Norman, also preceded her in death. Mrs. Skinner worked at Berry Nursing Home in Morrisonville and Booneville Indiana Nursing Home for many years. Survivors: two sons, Glenn Skinner of Raymond and Lee Skinner of Morrisonville; a daughter, Helen Hadley of Booneville, Ind.; 16 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Warren Oller of Palmer and Vern "Sam" Oller of Chatham; and two sisters, Betty Cierfuss of Rockford and Barbara Meier of Nashville, Tenn. Services: 11 a.m. Friday, First Baptist Church in Morrisonville, the Rev. Michael Skinner officiating. Burial: Morrisonville Cemetery. Hough Colonial Home in Morrisonville is in charge of arrangements.
