- Nelly Renfro does not appear on Tax Books again. Perhaps she was
residing wi th one of her children (probably with Jacob & Bridget Renfro,
since she deed ed him her property in 18570

(late Eleanor Hunter) and the heirs legally begotten of her o wn body, all

waters of Twin Creek, containing 163 acres.....for the sum of $978.00

dated Sept 12, 1837 by her father, Jacob Hunter......that (Jac ob Renfroe)
and they shall will and comfortably take care of and support the said
