Peeler
HARDINMrs. Melissa Jane Peeler, 76, widow of Jane Peeler, died Monday evening at Jersey Comm unity Hospital Jerseyville, following a long illness.
A life-time resident of Calhoun County, Mrs. Peeler was born Oct. 16, 1891, to the late Mr. a nd
Mrs. William Snider.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Malissa Powell, East Hardin; two brothers, John and Theod ore Snider, Hardin, and sister, Mrs. Flora Dorman Wood River. There are six grandchildre n a n d 15 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in the C.C. Hanks Funeral Home, Hardin with the R ev. Ralph Anderso officiating. Burial will be Hardin Cemetery.
Visitation at the funeral horne will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday.

Peeler Funeral
HARDIN Funeral services for Mrs. Melissa Jane Peeler, 76, of Hardin, will be Thursday
at 2 p.m. in the C. C. Hanks Funeral Home, Hardin, with the Rev. Ralph Anderson officiating.
Burial will be in Hardin Cemetery.
Visitation at the funeral home began at 2 p.m. today.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Malissa Powell, East Hardin; two sons, Raymond, Hardin, and Ho ward, California; two brothers, John and Theodore Snider, Hardin; a sister, Mrs. Flora Dorman , Wood River; six grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
