Rosina/Rosa Pate was the widow of Henry M Pate, so Charles Walker married his nephew's widow. Charles was living in Breckinridge Co, Kentucky when the 1850 and 1860 Census was taken; in Curdsville District, Daviess County, Kentucky in 1870 and 1880. His last tax listing was in 1883 in Daviess County. We cannot find a burial place but Baptismal records were found for Mellie Walker, the youngest child of Charles and Rosa/Rosina at St. Alphonsus Church which is located near Curdsville, once called St Joseph's Church. Mellie Walker is the granmother of the compiler of this book. Rosina, Mellie and her brother Ben were shown in 1900 living in the home of Rosina's sister, Julie Woods, in Breckinridge Co, (MellieWalker) said she had no living parents in 1901 when she married Jesse Theodore Jolly.
