Page 205. At the request of Bent Hoskins of CC, Gent, the following instrument of writing was recorded this .
I do hereby acknowledge to have received of my brother, Bennett Hoskins, executor of Oswald Hoskins, executor of Ann Hoskins, executrix of Colo Philip Hoskins, full satisfaction of my part of all the sd estates, & likewise any part of my brother, Baylord Hoskins' estate. I acquit Bennett Hoskins from all legacies, accounts, bills, bonds, or demands, and also a Negro girl named Martha, left me as legacy by my sd father. Signed Jul 8, 1729 - Martha Hoskins. Wit - Henry Hill.
This next is not correct. Thomas Stone was dead over 2 years by the time of the above receipt when she signed as "Hoskins", and Martha wasn't old enough to be his wife. He had to have married her half-sister Jane.
Martha Hoskins, b. c. 1707, m. Thomas Stone of Chas Co., MD before 26 May 1729.
