Priscilla, wife of John Moore, called Jordan on the west side of Zachia Main Swamp; bounded by John Pidgeon and land of John Moore; containing 50 acres; /s/ John Moore, Priscilla Moore (mark); wit. At the request of George Askin of CC, the following deed was recorded this May 1, 1724.
Apr 27, 1724 from John Moore of CC, planter, to George Askin of CC, planter, for 14 £ 7 shillings & 6 pence and for divers other causes, all that parcel of about 60 acres, being part of 400 acres of land given by Jno Smith, late of cc, unto his daughter, Prissilla, the wife of the sd Jno Moore, part of a tract called Jordan, lying on the west side of Zachia main Swamp. Signed - John Moore, Priscilla (+ her mark) Moore. Wit - Thos Sanders Jr, Thos Morris, Jon Fendall*, Robt Hanson*.

Jun 9, 1756 from John Moore and Precilley, his wife, of CC, to Samuel Hanson of CC, for 24,000 lbs of crop tobacco, all that part of a tract of land in CC called Jordan, containing 281 acres, being the rest of the sd tract unsold by sd John Moore and Pricilla, his wife, to any person heretofore, the 281 acres being part of 400 acres heretofore given by John Smith to sd John Moore and Priscilla Moore. Oct 14, 1766 from Matthew Moore, Thomas Bowling Speake, and John Moreland Jr of CC, planters, to Thomas Wedding of CC, planter, for 55 £, 72 acres, being part of a tract of land leased by the Lord Proprietary of Maryland on Dec 5, 1746 to John Andrew Camburn during the lives of John Smith Moore, James Moore, Hezekiah Moore, sons of John Moore & Priscilla Moore. The land is on Zachiah Manor, & called part of Baggotts Boot, containing 155 acres, as by reference to sd lease, executed by Thomas Bladen, Esq, then Governor of Maryland, & Benjamin Tasker, Esq, then agent of sd Lord Proprietary, may appear. The lease was assigned by John Andrew Camburn on Apr 23, 1747, to John Moore, and by sd Moore, on Jul 26, 1759, to Matthew Moore, and by sd Moore, on Dec 21, 1759, to sd Thomas Bowling Speake and John Moreland Jr, as by the several endorsements on the original lease appears. in consequence, sd Moore, Speake, and Moreland make over to sd Wedding, 72 acres, part of the sd land called part of Baggotts Boot. Signed - Matthew Moore, Thomas Bowling Speake, John Moreland Jr. Wit - Sam: Hanson*, Geo: Lee*. Jane, the wife of sd Matthew Moore, Ann, the wife of sd Thomas Bowling Speake, & Michel, the wife of sd Moreland, relinquished their right of dower. Recorded Oct 18, 1766.
