Sd Notly Ford and Ann Gwinn did jointly purchase of Richard Gambra of CC, 200 acres, being part of a tract of land called Lawrells Branch, lying in CC, and bounded by land called Whites Ford, containing 200 acres, as by CC deed from sd Richard Cambra to sd Notly Ford and Ann Gwinn, dated Nov 15, 1766. This deed further witnesses that sd Notly Ford, for 100 £, has sold to sd Ann Gwinn, all sd Ford's right to the afd 200 acres. Signed - Notly Ford. Wit - Geo Dent*, Saml Love*. This deed was acknowledged by Notly Ford and Ann Ford, his wife. Recorded Sep 16, 1771.

I, Edward Ford of CC, cordwainer, am bound to Benja Gwinn of CC, planter, in the just sum of 20,000 lbs of tobacco in cask, which payment I bind myself to pay to sd Benjamin Gwinn, by Oct 10, 1737, as witness my hand and seal this Feb 19, 1735/6_ The condition of the above obligation is such that if the afd Edward Ford or William Cage do make over, by deed, all that part or tract of surplus or waste or cultivated land that John Gwinn bought of William Cage, to the sd Benjamin Gwinn, then the above obligation to be void.
