Notes |
- Jasper N Skinner is fully recorded thru his life, but no further record of Joseph N. Both had the same b.d., and the 1860 census writes "Joseph" to appear as "Josfur" It is very likely that Joseph N and Jasper N are one and the same.
Jasper is Linda Randle's ancestor, and she has independently come to the same tentative conclusion.

Subject: Skinner Family
I loved your presentation of your family. It takes a great deal of time and care. I have been searching for a very long time for my husband's "Skinner" roots in the Morrisonville area, and continue to hit a brick wall. I think from what I have and from what I've seen in your photos and your information, that your kin (Joseph and Irene (Skinner) Snider) might be related to the ones I have been searching for. I think Irene was the daughter of "Morris F Skinner", who was the son of "Mylo Skinner", and the brother of my husband's gggrandfather, Jasper N Skinner (aka J N Skinner).
I have never been able to validate this, however. If you have any information that could link them, I would be forever greatful!!!!!
Thanks for your time. And again, great job! I wish I had the talent you have shown here!
Thanks again! Linda Skinner
