  Notes	They were living in Mendon at the time of their marriage, but it was recorded in Milford, performed by a Justice of the Peace. They may have been evacuating the town at the time, as it was burned by Indians a few days later (King Phillip?s War). Their first three children were born during their ?exile? in Braintree. They moved back to Mendon by 1680. After Jacob died, Huldah married Ebenezer Staples. Thayer {a} has Huldah married 13 Apr 1697 to Samuel Wilkerson, but that marriage should be her daughter Huldah [3712.4]. Jacob and Huldah are Congregational. Jacob died without a will, leaving an estate of 267 pounds (about $30,000 today).
