1803-1809 Buffalo, NY;
Stockton, NY 1809-1810;
Pomfret, NY. One of the first settlers of Buffalo, NY. Purchased a tract of land known as "Cold Spring" near the banks of the Niagara River.
1805 helped clear land for what became Niagara Street in Buffalo.
1809 sold his land in Buffalo, due to large number of thefts of provisions from his stores by the Indians. Purchased a heavily timered tract of land on the shore of Lake Cassadaga in Stockton, NY. Cleared this land and converted it to a farm.
Spring 1810 built a road from Fredonia, NY to Cassadaga, NY brought his family to Pomfret, NY where they settled. He & his wife, along with their infant children are buried in Cassadaga Christian Cemetery, Cassadaga, NY.
