- Frederick Co Va Wills 1795-1816: one of buyers of father's acct 1 Feb 1808, listed as Jane Madden (her maiden name), together with Mabra Madden and Charles Madden, son of William Madden, brother to the deceased.
1795, Nov 25: Her father was bondsman for Jean Madden & John Thomas, Minister Returns Marriage Register No. 1 (Frederick Co VA Marriages 1771-1825 by Eliza Timberlake Davis and same info also Virginia Historic Marriage Register, Fred Co Marriages 1738-1850 by John Vogt, 1984.
1821: Mentioned in her mother's will as Jane Thomas.
