  Notes	SPECIAL RANGER Alonzo William Allee was born in May 1878 in Goliad, Goliad County, Texas, to Alfred Allee and Helen Eliza Bruton. He was 5ft. 9 3/4 in. tall, had gray eyes, sandy hair and fair complexion. He was married to Lela Belle Kellogg, had six children and worked as a stockman. He joined the SPECIAL RANGERS, serving from July 10, 1916, until April 21, 1917.He resigned from the rangers. Alonzo was a Stockman in LaSalle County, Texas, in 1910 and also worked for the Walker ranch. In 1912, he shot Fransisco and Manuel Gutiererrez at Alamita Ranch over a lease dispute. He was killed in a bar by a marshall in 1918, in Crystal City, Zavala County, Texas. (findagrave)
