  Notes	daughter of Robert Middleton. They had 11 children. Middletons were in far north VA and in MD..from early on. I have not melded my Middletons into the MD branch. But seeing Benedict use the name Marshall before his children were of Marrying age, makes me think there must be a connection somewhere. I have wondered if a Marshall was connected with Jane Middleton's family. There is speculation that Jane Middleton may have been a stepdau of a Crabb.. or maybe even a Crabb dau...and a stepdau of Middleton. The book says she was dau of Robert Middleton.
