Roselyn E. Courts 59, of Kountze, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2004. Roselyn was preceded in death by her daughter, Rae Michelle Cessac, brother, Gordon Reynolds, and parents, Mr & Mrs. E. A. Reynolds. Roselyn is survived by her beloved husband Richard Courts. Also surviving her are her four children. Diana Dear and fiancée Shane Jenkins of Vidor, Shari Pouch and husband Michael of Kountze, Eric Courts and wife Cindy of Carrolton, Texas, and Brandon Courts and wife Bridgette of Kountze. Roselyn is survived by several siblings; David Reynolds and wife Diane of Baton Rouge, Barbara Foy and husband Truman of Abilene, Texas, Jimmy Reynolds and wife Erma of Kilgore, Texas and Beth Howell of LaVista, Colorado. Roselyn leaves behind nine grandchildren and one great grandchild, who all lovingly called her "RoRo." Meagan Baldwin of Kountze, Brittany Courts of Beaumont, Victoria, Taylor and Zachary Pouch of Kountze, Blake and Tiffany Courts of Carrollton, Texas, Dylan and Danielle Courts of Kountze; and great granddaughter Andi Baldwin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. RoRo will be missed greatly by all who knew her. She worked 28 years for Hubers Decorating Center, where she met many people and made many friends. She was always smiling no matter what the situation was. She will always be remembered by her tiny voice, big heart and beautiful smile. She truly touched many lives in her lifetime. With every story or memory we will each recall, we will spend a lifetime telling our new babies, who will be to young to remember, how beautiful, loving and big her tiny voice really was. We will all miss her dearly. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 5, 2004 at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Scaggs from Crestwood Baptist Church officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
