  Notes	Stephen Jones Lindsey's parents went to Kentucky when most of the Longmarsh Lindseys were going either to Kentucky or Ohio. As a young man, Stephen visited Berrys Ferry, and fell in love with, and married, his first cousin. Shortly after the birth of their second son, Joseph Berry Lndsey, they went back to Kentucky, but left their sons Joseph Berry Lindsey, who was rather a sickly baby, with his grandmother Sarah Berry Lindsey. Later, the Stephen Jones Lindseys came back to Virginia, and took Joseph Berry Lindsey with them to Upperville (where, for a while, Stephen practiced dentistry) but after one night in Upperville, Joseph Berry Lindsey decided that he wanted to go back to Berrys Ferry, which he did, and he lived at Berrys Ferry for the rest of his life (he lived a good deal of the time with his uncle and aunt, the John Thomas Lindseys) . http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=frostinaz01&id=I9354
