D. Jane McClure, the second daughter and fourth child of James and Agnes McClure, was born in Ireland; came with her parents to Augusta Co, 1738, and married 1757 (second wife) of Capt Archibald Alexander, born Cunningham Manor, Ireland, Feb 4 1708. They lived near Timber Ridge, Rockbridge Co, in which church he was a ruling elder.
(snip) His (Archibald Alexander) will recorded at Lesington, VA was written Nov 29, 1779 and proved Feb 1 1780.

A.S.Doak, b Sep 10, 1846, now pastor of the Presbyterian Church Lenoir, Tenn., (2) Rev. S.H. Doak, father of W.H. Doak, M.D., the father of Rev. A.H. Doak, pastor, Presbyterian Church, Wilmore, Ky.
