  Notes	Davis Dimock Cheever was the fourth child of Samuel Cheever and the second Dec. 1, 1872 he was married to Amelia Randles in Missouri. Davis and Amelia lived in Saline Co, Missouri souring the 1870's but moved Davis soon moved his family to a farm north of Palmer, Illinois, but his On Feb. 16, 1893, Davis purchased Lot 4, in Section 5, and Lots 1 a nd 2 Davis went back to Illinois to settle his affairs there. He returned to 1907 Davis, Amelia, and a group of neighbors, traveled by train to the Davis was a tall, slendr man who wore a mustache. He liked to read and 1913 Davis bought a new Essex automobile. He like the car but had trouble Davis and Amelia moved from the farm to a house on the east edge of Burden, Feb. 27, 1920 Friday - D.D.
