Michael was Nationlized in September of 1715 in Kingston, NY. He was Killed by Indians near the Old Fort of Wurtsboro, Sullivan County. He was returning from a visit to his daughters home in Minisink. A historial marker was place on the spot, On Route 209. Route 209 runs from Wurtsboro to Kingston, NY and is west of Poughkeepsie."
