- Clint and his brother Emmett owned a cotton gin, feed store, and John Deere dealership in downtown Palestine. The John Deere dealership was operated by Clint and when he died was sold and became a restaurant, which burned down in about 2005. The Gin (where this truck sat) and the Feed Store were across Crawford Street from the John Deere dealership.
