- state of Texas know all men by county of Cherokee then presents theses the late William Lauderdale deceased of the county and state above mentioned died interstate being possessed with some real and personal estate and where
as the only surviving heirs left are one son ISAAC J. and two daughters Elvira J. and Mary Ann and whereas the said ELVIRA J. has married WILLIAM E. STOVALL and Mary Ann married JAMES R. McKinney and whereas by agreement the
said heirs have divided said estate among themselves and whereas it to be comes necessary to clear title for each one of said heirs to quick claim all interest in and to each others severs all parts of said estate. Now therefore
in consideration of the premises above mentioned and for our mutual parts of said William E. Stovall and wife Elvira J. Stovall, James R. McKinney and wife Mary Ann McKinney of the county and state above named have remised, released, relinquished and quick claimed and by their presence do remise, release, relinquished and quick claim with the said ISAAC J. LAUDERDALE all rights title interests and claim in and to the following described tract of parcel of land lying and being situated in Cherokee County Texas knows as a part of the _____________survey and being the B.W. part of the division of the 138 1/10 acreas tract and one partainlely described as follows to exact. Beginning in the SW corner of the 138 2/4 acreas survey sold by all conclusion to William
Lauderdale on the 11th day of January 1871 theresas South 400 name to a stake in the West line of said survey from which a post oak 22 in. in diameter by S77E 13 1/2 and a persimmon w in. dim. by S26E theres said 650 1/10 on as
to a stake from which a post oak 22 in. in dim.two N of E 11 !/2 NS and another post oak 8 in. in dim 606 at 18 1/2 W to 1/2 as theres North 400 named to a stake in the North line of said survey from which a black Jack 14 in. in the E 1 3/10 acreas thereas with said survey line 653 1/10 named to
the place of the beginning containing forty six and 1/10, one tenth (45 1/10) acreas. To have and to hold the above described premises together with all his heirs and assignes forever witness our hands this 11th day of December AD 1882.
