    Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday at the London & Burton Funeral Chapel for Soloman L Sliger. He died at his home in Electra at 11:30 PM Saturday.

    The Bro Harry Hannes, Central Baptist Church pastor, will officiate and burial will be in Greenleaf Cemetery.

    Mr Sliger a native of Arkansas was born December 3, 1868. He was a member of the Baptist Church.

    Surviving are one son C N Sliger of Waldo Ark; five daughters, Mrs Josie Jones of Brownwood; Mrs M B Hatcher of Electra; Mrs C C (Bertie) Cason and Mrs J H (LaVerne)Young of Odessa and Mrs J O (Miriam) Mendenhall of Fort Worth; two sisters Mrs Ella Huff of New Mexico and Mrs Kathryn Couch of California; four brothers Clayton Sliger and Add Sliger of California and Mack and Jim Sliger. Seventeen granchildren and seven great granchildren also survive.

    Pallbearers will be Woodie Stroud, Leslie Tabor, Ollie Mendenhall, Barton Jones, Leo Taylor and Jim Parkman.

    London & Burton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
