Sherry: Here is some further information on the following posting of Adelia Ellen Thorp. The Mr Crockett that is mentioned as the husband is William Henry Harrison Crockett, born 1843 in Virginia. Although this document says William K.H. Crockett, It is actually William Henry Harrison Crockett. He is buried in Pincher Creek, Alberta, Canada. One of their 2 sons (Samuel Lee Crockett) is my grandfather. Both sons were born in Seattle, Washington.

Crockett, William K. H.

William Crockett was at Calgary in 1871 then farmed in the Okotoks area. He was born in 1843 in Virginia, U.S.A. and died in 1905 at Pincher Creek. In 1877 at Old Yakima, Washington, U.S.A. he married Adelia Ellen Thorp, who was born in Oregon, U.S.A. in 1855 and died at Okotoks in 1925. There were two sons in their family.

"They [Samuel Lee and parents and brother] then moved to a small town just south of Calgary and eventually to Pincher Creek, Alberta where they homesteaded.
