    Mrs. Ruth Ballou, wife of H.R. Ballou, died at the residence 940 North Fourth street, this morning at the age of 24 years. She is survived by her husband, two brothers, W.A. and P.B. Moyer. The body was taken to Metcalf undertaking rooms and later to the residence. The funeral arrangements will be announced later.

    Died, at 10 a.m., Monday, April 6, 1914, at the family residence, 940 North Fourth street, after an illness of four months, Ruth Ballou, wife of H. R. Ballou, aged 21 years. The decedent was born in Cropsy in 1893 and came to this city when one year old, residing here until the time of her death. She was married May 29, 1911. She is survived by her husband; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Mayer of this city; two brothers, W. A. Mayer of this city and P. B. Mayer of Tuscon, Ariz. IL State Journal, Springfield, IL 4-7-1914
